I’m currently working on a web development project and my web designing homework has a specific section asking to differentiate between UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience). Honestly, I thought they were kind of the same thing—designing how a website looks and feels. But now, I’m realizing there’s more to it.

Can anyone here clearly explain the difference between the two? Also, how deep do I need to go in this topic when submitting a web designing assignment?
