'Coventry mocker' Anthony slams English pundit for “pooping 147 billion times”

“147 billion won Anthony is shitting every game”.

“Chelsea's Kalit Boularus launched a fierce attack on Manchester United's Anthony after he taunted Coventry players during their FA Cup match,” The Sun reported on Nov. 23 (KST).

United won the 2023-2024 FA Cup semifinal against Coventry 4-2 on penalties after a hard-fought 3-3 draw after 120 minutes of extra time at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on Feb. 22.

United will now face Manchester City, who defeated Chelsea the day before, in the final of the competition on May 26 in the Manchester derby at Wembley Stadium.

The Red Devils have a chance to avenge their 1-2 loss to City in last season's FA Cup final.

Despite the penalty shootout victory, United's performance was a bit of a 'heaven and hell' affair.

The Red Devils faced Coventry as a workaround for a series of injuries to their center back options, with defensive midfielder Kasemir forming a central defense combination with Harry Maguire.

United started well.

Scott McTominay gave United the lead in the 23rd minute, and Maguire's header in first-half stoppage time made it 2-0 at the break.

Thirteen minutes into the second half, Bruno Fernandes scored his team's third goal of the game and it looked like a comfortable victory.

But then Coventry rallied.

Ellis Sims' 26th-minute strike sparked a late comeback, followed by Callum O'Hare's 34th-minute strike, before Coventry dramatically equalized in stoppage time when Haji Wright converted a penalty kick awarded after a handball foul on United's Aaron Wan-Bisaka.

Unable to find a winner in the first 90 minutes, the teams went into extra time.

Coventry hit the ground running in the second half of stoppage time when Viktor Torp had a taste of goal but was ruled offside by the video assistant referee (VAR).

In the end, the teams went to penalty shootouts to dry the blood, and United had the last laugh.

Kasemiru missed the first kick of the penalty shootout, but Coventry missed twice as well, giving United a 4-2 win and a spot in the final.

However, after the penalty shootout, Anthony provoked the Coventry players.

Boularus lashed out at Anthony. “His behavior was inappropriate. He didn't understand the situation he was in and the team's performance. He should be the last person to behave like this,” he said.

“Anthony signed for €100 million ($147 million) and he's shitting his pants every game. As far as I know, he has only one assist and no goals in the Premier League. You have to respect and congratulate the Coventry player for a great game. He should be ashamed of himself,” he explained.
