San Francisco's Lee Jung-hoo extended his hitting streak to six games with a hit off Los Angeles Dodgers closer Evan Phillips.

Lee started in the leadoff spot in the lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers today (March 3) and went 1-for-5 with a walk.

With two outs in the top of the ninth inning, Lee hit a 150-mile-per-hour cut fastball from Phillips.

The hit came in his final at-bat, extending his hitting streak to six games, including his MLB debut.

Lee's season batting average dropped from .316 to .292 (7-for-24).

However, San Francisco fell 5-4 to the Dodgers, snapping a three-game losing streak.

San Diego's Ha-Sung Kim started at shortstop in the fifth spot in the lineup against St. Louis and went 0-for-4 with a walk.

Kim's season batting average dropped from .269 to .233 (7-for-30).
